The Design Process

Initial Consultation

•Visit and tour residence
•Review scope of work
•Discuss homeowner’s style preferences (traditional, modern, or transitional)

Project Estimate

•Calculation of costs (as appropriate) for design, construction, electrical, plumbing, flooring, window treatments, furnishings, and accessories.

Design Phase

•Conceptual Development
•Architectural review (as necessary)
•Drafting of construction documents (as necessary)
•Furnishings plan
•Provide specifications for any appliances, lighting, and plumbing fixtures.
•Select (as necessary) paint colors, wall coverings, flooring, and window treatments.
•Select or design (as necessary) any cabinetry and custom furniture.

Construction Phase

•Management, scheduling, and coordination (along with contractor) of any demolition and structural construction.
•Supervision (along with contractor) of electrical, plumbing, painting, and flooring subcontractors.

Installation Phase

•Management, scheduling, and supervision of furnishing and window treatment installations.
•Accessorizing (as necessary) and finishing details.

Completion

•Final site review of project with homeowner in order to confirm that everything has been completed as promised.
